Eyes Closed, Restless, Not Eating

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Female Veiled Chameleon, Est. Age 3-4 months, I've had her for about a month.
Handling - I handle her as little as possible; I've tried the shower method to get her hydrated but other than that the handling has been minimal.
Feeding - I feed her 5-6 small/med gutloaded crickets a day. I don't know what my pet store uses to feed their crickets. I also installed a small plastic cup to use to feed her mealworms and a few waxworms.
Supplements - ZooMed ReptiCalcium w/o D3, dusting every feeding, Reptivite multivitamin w/D3 every week and a half or so.
Watering - I have a Big Dripper set on top of the cage that drips down over the plastic climbing plants. I mist twice a day for about 30sec-1min, until I see the water dripping off of the plants.
Fecal Description - Normal-looking brown, solid droppings. She may have been tested for parasites by the pet store but I haven't taken her to a vet.
History - She came from a local pet store that seemed to be taking good care of her. She liked the heat lamp that I recently stopped turning on because of advice that I received on these forums about keeping females somewhat cooler (low 80s range).

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Screen cage, 18" Wide x 18" Deep x 36" Tall.
Lighting - All Living Things 18" Slimline UVB light; I also have daytime and nighttime heat lamps that are not in use currently.
Temperature - The cage is kept in the low 80s, that is mainly maintained by the outside temp of my area (Southern California).
Humidity - Right now her cage is in the low 50% humidity range, misting as stated above.
Plants - All of the plants provided are artificial.
Placement - The cage is in the corner of the room in a low traffic area. It is not near any fans or air vents. The top of the cage is approx 5.5-6ft off the floor.
Location - I live in Southern California.

Your Current Problem - So Carmen has kept her eyes completely closed for the last few days, including while she's climbing around. She gropes around in empty air for footholds, and she almost never sits still now. I just installed a laying bin in case it's eggs, but she didn't seem to want to have anything to do with it. She also hasn't been eating for the last two days or so, and I'm worried about her. Any suggestions on what to do? How can I get her to open her eyes and eat?

I would get her to a vet ASAP.

Can you post a recent photo of her please.

Also...at that age she should be eating more.

Here's a picture that I just took, and here's another one. I can take more pictures if it'll help. She turned dark when I opened the cage and has gone back to a resting light green. I'm going to make some calls to my local vet, as I expected I would have to do. I'm really worried about her; I know that something is wrong but I can't think of what in the world it might be.

So after a 30+ minute combo of shower and direct misting, I finally got Carmen to drink. I put her back in her cage and now she's sitting still like this. She did crack an eye open as I was putting her back, which I take is a good sign. I'm going to try to get her some more hydration, and hopefully after that she'll eat something. The earliest I can get her to my local vet is Wednesday. Do you guys have any tips to get her to maybe eat/drink more before that? Anything I should/shouldn't be doing?

Question about your Slim Line UVB Light.....does it have a clear plastic covering over the light? If so, and you haven't already, you need to remove the cover for her to get the UVB from it.

I have a question!!

I have a 3 and a half old male veiled chameleon and as of two days ago he started acting weird. He developed a weird white splotch on his side and now it had turned a black color. He's not eating and is closing eyes at some points throughout the day. It a scary thing. Can anyone give me some info or try and help me as to what I need to do. (By the way he is in a clean cage with clean water etc) i have pictures if that'll help??

Please start a new thread in Heath with your concerns and answer the How to Ask for Help questions. That way more members will see the thread. Without the questions answered there is not much to go on.
