Eye Rubbing Panther Baby

I got a male panther baby. He looks to be about 2 mo old, but he is still pretty tiny. I have seen him drink and eat. Earlier i saw him rubbing one of his little eyes on a branch. What does this mean? I didn't notice any stuck shed or irritation, but he is so small it is hard to know. I have saline and could do a rinse but I don't want to bother him a bunch while he is still getting used to his new home. Let me know what to do, thanks

I know some may think lighting, I have a reptisun 5.0 t8 and a 40w incan, which keeps his basking temp between 83-85 degrees F

How often do you mist? Maybe you could increase his misting times and see if that helps.

Today is the first day I have has him but I have misted 3 times and he has a dripper always going. I will up mistings to 5x daily and see what happens. Thanks

Well, he could have just had an itch, but a nice long, warm mist will certainly help clean out anything that is irritating his eyes.
