Our 9-10 month old veiled chameleon Carols was sitting on a branch in his enclosure today and got sprayed directly in the face by the mister. After this happened he kept his eye closed for a short period of time. When we took him out to handle him he had his eye open. Later in the day we noticed that his eye was closed again and he kept it closed for the rest of the evening until he went to sleep. We are worried that there could be damage to his eye. He has been hunting, eating and drinking since. Has anyone ever experienced this? Any suggestions?
