eye problem

I've been keeping chams for a few years now and have never experienced a cham with an eye problem. He's only a few months old and will open both eyes 50% of the time but he swishes his left eye around a lot or barely opens his eye so he can still see just a bit. It's only his left eye and the right eye is perfectly fine. Does anyone have a solution for this problem. I have access to ro water and saline if I need to try and flush his eye. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated! Thank you!! :)

mine had the same problem i ended up taking mine to the vet and she gave him some antibiotic drops and then i put them in whenever he is having problems but if not i just make sure that he gets a really warm misting and it flushes his eyes and he rolls it around and he hasn't had any problems since

I took a small 1cc syringe and lightly dripped warm ro water in his eye to swish it around. Today I'm going to do the same except add half saline. The vet said if it doesn't work by a week or so I'll have to bring him in for a check up. He's actually keeping his left eye open more now that I've rinsed out his eye that's closing more then the other. I just got him about a month ago and the first day or so he was fine then he kept his left eye closed more than usual. All my chams eyes are very alert and constantly moving swiftly and quick. Anyway I hope all goes well. I'll post a pic of his sire, the dam's sire, and then the baby male offspring.
