So my Veiled of 5 months has had his left eye closed for two days now. I have zero clue why he is not opening it. What could have caused this and what can i do to fix it? Oh and i think it may actually be opened slightly but i cannot tell

JohnC,
What kind of setup do you have?
So far from most of the post here it's suggested to stick him in the shower,
this should allow ur cham to swooch\clean out it's eye in case it has something in it,
Be sure to not point the shower sprayer directly on cham,
Good luck..

Current Problem - I am concerned about his eyesight and his eating habits now that i think about it. His left eye will not completely open.

I forgot to mention that he is shedding so could this be the cause? I gave him a shower yesterday

I would say mist the heck out of him several times a day and try a shower as suggested. Terramycin is also a great remedy!

He is being misted constantly as of now haha. I showered him yesterday though. What is terramycin?

Humidity is impossible to gauge accurately without a meter i would suggest you get a new one. yellow urates might mean dehydration and this will not help shedding. terramycin is antibiotic eye ointment. if no improvement see a vet

good luck

Sean
