Eye Movements

Hey everyone :D

I don't know how I'm going to word this..today in the morning I was looking at my panther chameleon and I saw one of his eyes moving in an odd way, it's as if it was being pushed outward and around his eyelids when it was closed.

Is this normal?

Glad to help out a little bro. Keep coming to the forums, and keep asking questions. Share your experiences with us too. This is the BEST forum around!!!

YES. This is very normal. When they're cleaning their eyes, it's cool to watch.

I would say more "creepy" than "cool", but it is quite normal. Sometimes they will also squinch the eye in while rubbing that side of the face against something, which I always find uncomfortable to watch - but doesn't seem to phase them in the least.

Yeah, mine did that today too, against a branch
