oh that actually makes senseLots of animals percieve eye contact as a threat. In nature when something is staring at you, they're likely "sizing you up." When I was first hand / cup feeding Mona, If I was looking right at her she would just stare at me and sometimes hide behind a branch -- it was only when I would not look at her that she would take the food from my hand or my cup.
Yeah when I started my research I also read on here that when hand feeding avoid eye contact and also when going in their cage with them in it. Just stuff I read as welloh that actually makes sense
