Extra lighting

Hi all, I am using an Arcadia 48" t5ho 12% and want to put a 36" t5 ( non uvb) next to it for extra lighting.
Question is: will the additional lighting affect the uvb output from the Arcadia?

Are you using the same hood? Meaning will both bulbs be in the same fixture? If so are there single reflectors for each bulb? If not than yes the plant bulb will deminish the UVB but you should be fine with your 12% Arcadia. If you're using different hoods than you have nothing to worry about

I recommend an led grow light like the SANSI or Jungle Dawn. They’ll put out significantly more light, if we are just talking about plants and overall brightness.

Yeah I Had an extra 36" hood so I set it on top beside the 48" with a regular non uvb bulb simply for more light. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't loosing any rays.
