exo terra thermometer

I think my exo terra thermometer might not be working. The tempt is right but the humidity part is definitely not. It will shoot up to 50% when I play around with it, then drop right back down to 16% which I know is not true at all.

Any way I can fix this without buying a new one? it it just a setting and it keeps dropping back down again?

is it analog or digital? i would just get a new one if it is messing up. i wouldnt bother trying to fix it. exo terra isnt the best i would get one from a hydroponics store. they always have the best stuff when it comes to things like that.
