Hello folks. Anybody have some feedback on longterm usage of the metal halide fixtures and bulbs. There was a lot of excitement awhile back and it seems they've been put on the backburner. I'll probably take the safe route of arcadia 6 or 12%, a 6500k and a halogen for heat, but I'm curious of other options. Also anybody use the led's from lyr for plants? Thanx

Being a reef guy, I know how much heat metal halides produce. That definitely isn't good if the cham comes close to the fixture. Also, who wants a bill for a mh fixture, when you can have a cheaper bill running the T5s from arcadia. That's just my $0.02
