exo terra reptile uvb 150

i purchased the exo terra reptile uvb 150 for my month old vailed. he is in a 24x24x48 inch screen cage. lady at pets mart kept telling me it was great for that size cage if your housing an iguanna? i just wanted to make sure if it is the right bulb for my chameleon

For a cage that size you really need a tube style uv bulb. No compact uv bulb is going to give anywhere near good levels of uv for a chameleon in that sizes cages. I would go with a 10.0 linear uv tube on top of the cage.

Make sure the chameleon is getting enough food as it will be quite small of the size cage. Most people grow them on a bit before they put them in their adult sized cage.
