Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone has used the Exo Terra Monsoon Rainfall Misting System? I need a new one and i was wondering if this was worth 100 bucks?

Why not just get a mist king starter system for $100. You can get them through Misting Depot out of Houston Texas which saves on shipping cost.

It seems to be a hit or a miss. Personally they didn't work for me. Timer just didn't work. Having read other members comments, some have had no problems. You may get a better idea if you google and read reviews. There are quite a few recent threads on this forum which might help.

hey man i have personally had the exo terra rainfall system ..i got it off amazon for 80 bux so i thought what the heck ill try it out since the mist king was a little bit more expensive...i had it for 2 weeks before the motor got flooded with water and the power button would not turn off,, i had to disconnect the power to make it stop.

i advise you to get the mistking and save your money and your time ,,especially the hassel of intstalling ..the mist king is great effective man! sorry if i seem so negative bout the exo terra... not my intention..just trying to save you the time!! the starter mistking set is just 100 bux! you can add nozels as you get the $;P

I love my Monsoon. Very easy to install. Don't need to make your own water reservoir like you do with the mist king. Just add water, set the timer and duration and you are good to go. I haven't had any issues with mine at all.

really thinking about getting one since i have store credit at the pet store and it would only really cost me like 30 bucks ...
But iv seen so many horror stories about it im starting to second guess if its even worth that ..

i would buy the mist king hands down if i was paying full price for both
