Awesome pics and chams!
I will definetely get a green house when I get my own place when Im older and will definetely get some Parsons, hopefuly by then they will be CB ;)

Nice!

Gorgeous Parsons... and I always thought the greenhouse idea was soo cool... but I live in Pa and we get extremely cold winters here... but I had thought before of putting one up on the summer...??? We shall see!

Thanks for sharing the pics... although now I have to go wipe the drool off my face! lol.... :p

If you've got the money and space...get a green house addition to your main house....make in insulated and with a heating system, so you can have it running year around. OOORRR just make the green house a bed room addition with glass walls and what not....just with...a bed....haha. My dream.

I like mildew :) it's a clever name. Rhino is a very pretty shade of green-blue! How much does he weigh?

Last time I weighed him he was 642 grams. He still has a bit of growing before he becomes completely mature. I have seen in the past some adult male wild caught orange eyes (Pre Ban) that were much larger than Rhino is.

If political problems stop and conservation continues and conservation goals are achieved you may not have to worry as much about where the Parsons are from (although I recommend buying captive bred as much as you can). Since if these conservation goals are accomplished and continuous forest habitat for each kind of Parsons/chameleon is conserved you may eventually see new quotas or possible exports by special permits.

There's a lot more stuff that has to happen before any conservation and political problems stop. :( People will always matter more (which isn't always a bad thing.)

With how important the forest are in Madagascar and with how wasteful the practices are now, if a forestry program (not just for National Parks and Preserves)was established in Madagascar there would be many well paying forestry jobs for local Malagasy and overall a greatly more productive and profitable way of managing and maintaining the forests. As the methods being used currently are extremely wasteful. If you look at California for example here out in the countryside forestry jobs are coveted (as quality jobs)and if logging and other forestry activities are done in contemporary ways that would make forestry agriculture much more productive and sustainable. Something similar should be done in Madagascar. When that happens then you could start to consider new quotas.
