Erik all grown up. Erik is a wild-caught Triioceros quadricornis gracilior imported May, 2016. The picture of him in my avatar was taken shortly after import. Too bad his horns were so damaged at import.

Quads and graciliors have a large eye opening so you see more of their eye. Plus they have a little slash of dark along the (fused) eyelids that form the turrets. They have a soft, sweet expression.

Absolutely stunning, they look more prehistoric to me over the other chameleons.

The ones that look the most prehistoric to me are the Trioceros cristatus. They are really kind of ugly shaped but they have fabulous red stripes between the scales on their throat and the males have a bright turquoise blue crown of scales around their casque. They have grown on me. When I have a bit more room, I want a male, just one @jpowell86.
