Enough Lighting? Too big?

Planning on purchasing a Panther for my first 'meleon soon :) Setting up the cage first. Got a really good deal on a reptibreeze 2'x2'x4' and have a hibiscus, vines and silk plants in it. I purchased a double dome to house the lights. I have a 75w basking bulb and a 5.0uvb in it. I feel like the light doesn't penetrate down far enough into the thank. Is this really an issue? The panther I'm looking to get is a 3 month old and I'm concerned maybe the cage is too big. I have a table under the cage which shortens the internal hight to about 3ft. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have the same sized cage with the double dome.. I had a 100w with a compact 5.0. Quickly wasmt enough heat for me. I went with 2 100w house bulbs in the domes about 5 inches above the screen and a linear 5.0. My ambient is around 68-72

all sounds good. I suggest thinking about a drainage system, a mister or dripper. Other than that some temp/humidity guages. Feeder cup is good to make as well. I use a plant light to brighten up the cage to help plans stay alive.

Yah, I'm doing my research on misters right now and I was thinking about a feeding cup so the lil guy wont be overwhelmed trying to find food in there. Any suggestions for a great mister? I've read reviews on several and it seems like they all stink or cost a ton.

Mistking is 100 dollars and worth every cent. I wouldn't recommend anything else for the price. I'd actually recommend u do not buy the fogger habba mist or monsoon systems..
