Enough calcium?

Is this the onset of MBD? I cut way back on the supplementation because they are Jackson's and feared they were to sensitive to it. However I don't think I'm giving them enough per the schedule on the forums care sheets. I think I'm going to give them calcium without D3 at almost every feeding, and keep the calcium with D3, and multivitamins the same at once a month. They may be more sensitive than veiled are, but they eat much less too. So therefor they get less supplementation per their eating habits. What are you thoughts tell me what you think. Thanks for you help.

Thanks for your reply. I'll increase the calcium without D3 to almost every feeding. Do you think my girl has a touch of MBD?

She could have a little bit but it doesn't look too bad to me, in my honest opinion she doesn't. But I would definitely keep an eye on it.

What specifically are you concerned about? I don't see anything worrisome in your pic. She looks great to me. If I was considering whether MBD was sneaking in, I would be improving my feeder gutloads, switching out my UVB light, giving some outdoor basking if possible, and staying attentive. Overdosing vitamins is harder to reverse. As you say, jax eat less but they also have a slower metabolism. Fat soluble vitamins won't be eliminated as quickly either.

I've just switched out my UVB about a week ago, so I'm good there. Maybe I'm just being paranoid you know how you get with these guys. But I think I will keep it on the upper end with 4 times a week for the calcium without D3. Think that would be ok?
