Encouraging Jax baby to eat a variety?

Any ideas how I can tempt Monty into eating something other than fruitflies? He is still rather small and I have some size 2 crix (next up from pinheads) and they are ok sizewise, he just doesn't seem keen. He hate 1 today and 4 a few days ago. He does like a newly moulted mini mealworm sometimes, but I would rather he eat crix/locusts so I can dust them with the tiniest bit of supplement.

Any idea of how to 'dust' fruit lies would be good too, and also how to nsure that he eats the dusted ones! I know that gutloading is better over supplementing as far as Jacksons go, but I would feel happier if he started eating more than just the flies on a regular basis. Having trouble getting tiny enough silkworms and the waxworms I have are bigger than his head so I can' give him those either, lol! I have been trying to incubate some silkworms eggs, but they don't seem to be doing anything at all, so I think they are duds. I'm sure he would LOVE those if only I could get some small enough!

Because the silks are so soft they can eat bigger than you would expect. I always watch to make sure they don't choke on them though. As far as dusting FF I put them in the refrigerator for 5-10 min and then dump some into a cup and dust.

i do like clark does with the ff, or just band the cup on a tble so they all fall to the bottom, then crack the lid and dump a few into a cupp as they crawl for the top, dust and feed, fridge makes it easier tho.

Sorry, another question! This is probably a stupid one, but how do I make sure he eats the dusted ones? I wish he would grow a bit so he can eat proper sized food, lol!
