Enclosure for veiled chameleon.?

I've been looking up a lot about chameleons and really did my homework. I now am an owner of my first veiled chameleon and love her already. But she came in a glass terrainium and everything I've read said that that isn't good for them. So I was wondering what I should all get and put in a new cage.? Like brands and where to buy and all that.

As long as the terrainium has proper ventilation you'll be fine. Your only limitation as he/she grown is space!! Most All Glass enclosures are often too small to house a large Cham species like a Veiled.

I can't remember the name of it, she came with it.

I figured she was a little to big for it, even though she isn't very big, and was wondering about screen enclosures and what to put inside it and what not.

Yea it kinda sucks. Because i lovee the Glass enclosures. They hold humidity wayyyyyy better than a mesh cage. They just dont make them big enough for a Large Cham (without paying $300+ and i have yet to see one in the US taller than 36").

Get a 2' x 2' x 4' DIY mesh cage and zip tie a towel to 2 of the 4 sides, this will help hold in some of the humidity. You next issue is drainage (when you dripp and mist, the water has to collest somewhere). You can drill holes in the PVC floor plate and put bowl under the cage. But this means you will have to make a frame to elevate the cage.

where can I get all of this.? I recently went to my local petsmart and they have nothing for chameleons. and when I asked the guy there and asked about the different things to dust on crickets, they knew nothing. they told me stuff for bearded dragons and said it might be the same...

Cage Info:
