Omg no! I love doing wound care. Of course I always have empathy for my patients but the clinical side of me always gets excited when I see something complex or with complications. I have a few that I'll always remember.
My cat had an awesome abscess a few years ago. It was on his spine, it was from my other cat. He got it after a fight with him. He deserved it, he's a bully and my other cat finally had enough and fought back, but anyway, I was palpating the abscess and it ruptured and pus came pouring out of the puncture wounds on each side of his spine. There was so much of it and it was thick yellow green. I got to express it all before taking him to the vet for antibiotics. I know it hurt but I know it felt better after having it drained. Yeah I'm not right.

Yuck. As an EMT, and medical assistant, that's the one thing I couldn't stand! Mostly because it's not just the nasty looking pus, but also a wretched odor and disgusting squishy sound! Too many senses involved! 
To the OP. I must apologize for my off-topic rant.
I am glad that you were able to figure out how to make it work for your baby. And of course, it's wonderful to hear that she will be fine. 
@brookester93 , welcome to the community! I just want to explain that we (as a group of chameleon-lovers) are generally very helpful and supportive of all of our members. Sadly though, there are many scammers out there who target kind-hearted people, who share a common bond. They will exploit that and turn them selves a profit, by coming up with some terrible sob story about their "cham", and create one of those accounts to rob otherwise kind-hearted, caring people of their money, never to be heard of again, with a nearly impossible chance to get caught. This is why you see such a reaction from the people here. We are not rude. We have just been around the block a few times. At any rate, welcome, again. And I hope you continue to learn from this community of very experienced keepers!

@brookester93 Hey even I have a very hard time paying for my little dude, so I compromise. I find ways I can take care of problems my self with the tools I have at home. Im not one to hurt animals but if its to save their lives or help to save them I will gladly remove anything hurting my baby. Im only 15 years old and my parents pay for none of my supplies, I breed his crickets, buy his powders, buy the lights, and pay for any problems. Try setting aside at least 5 dollars each week to help pay for any medical issues in the future, after awhile those $5 will add up and help your little dude out. Best of Luck!!
