Hello everyone, i would like to ask what the health kit should contain. I have heard that i should have a cream for burns. do i need antibacterial soap? do i need to wash my chameleon? what else might be usefull?
thank you

If you have a general use antibiotic cream you can use it for burns or other skin injuries. I also like to have some sterile saline (such as contact lense rinse that does not contain preservatives) to rinse debris out of an eye, and some rehydration fluid such as Ringer's lactate or Pedialyte in case your cham gets sick and refuses to drink. I also keep a small container to take fresh fecal samples to a vet for parasite testing. If you have quick access to an experienced herp vet you may not need much more in your kit.

If your cham is drinking normally in its cage when you mist you shouldn't really need to wash your cham. Some chams like showers with warm water but others don't.

I work in a hospital and my emergency kit has syringes, needles (injecting feeders) Antibacterial cream, Silvadene (burn cream) and I just recently got rept aid from Tiki Tiki Reptiles. Since I work on the labor and delivery floor I also have axcess to Erythramycin (very similar to Terrimycin) for eye infections/irritations! Hope this helped.
