Today I leave to go to Omaha, Nebraska for their breeders expo. I'm honestly excited, but I don't know what to expect at that show. There is about 40 vendors attending from my understanding. Not sure on what they will all have, the first expo I went to back in August was small, and had a wide variety of animals, surprisingly very little snakes, and quite a few Chameleons. Anyone have any experience with an expo like this and how to wisely not blow every penny I have on animals, and supplies etc. I don't plan to take home any creatures but I do want to get tons of food and supplies.

If there's one thing I know, I know that these vendors (any vendors in general) don't want to pack all of that crap back up to bring back to the shop. They are there to sell.

There is a saying that I used to use back in my car dealership days, "This ain't no museum, we don't hold 'em, we roll 'em!)"

I say all of this to tell ya, don't be afraid to make an offer. Haggle, haggle, haggle! I'm telling you, they don't want to have to pack anything up! Reasonable offers are always welcomed! ;) :D

I'm sure I just pissed off a lot of vendors, but it's the truth, ain't it? You don't want to pack all of that crap back up, do ya?? ;)

I will take that advice and use it. I'm not very good with haggling. I'm too blunt and yeah.

Here's a great little secret: ALWAYS HAVE CASH!! If you know something is $30, pull out your wallet and open it up and say, "darn, I only have $20-25" and let them see your wallet. Cash is king!

Hell, I knew somebody that could haggle down Walmart, Home Depot, etc! She was a beast!! :D
