Eggs????

Hoj

Friendly Grasshopper
so i will be going to grab my share of the eggs froma breeding project my friend started. and i have a few questions

oh if you dont know from my other thread they are panther eggs nosy be x ambilobe

how long after being laid is it still ok to move the eggs around?

i belive she laid about 10 eggs so i am wodering since i will only be taking 5 or so should i use a smaller container, than the typical sandwitch one that most seem to put 12 or so eggs in?

and ill be placing them in a suitable container with about 1inch of vermiculit moistened with r/o water as so that i can only squeez out a drop or two of water. then i will make small indents in the verm, and place the eggs in. poke 3 or 4 tiny holes in the lid, weight the entire container as to monitor hydration by weight, and then place into a dark area at about 70-74 degrees?????

this is my first time be gentle LoL

any and all help will be greatly!! apprechiated

hoj

so i was thinking and looking at what i have here, so i was going to use a shallow deli cup for the verm, and eggs, and then put that into a larger container, ( small rubbermaid ) with a 1/4inch or water in the bottom, i believe i read that in a few others threads

Sounds good Another option for ya ,
I've heard a lot of good things about hatchrite right out the bag. No adding water ect. until later throughout incubation. Haven't used myself but when Im done with coco ill be going that route. I still just bury my eggs in the dirt :D Just like I dug them out. Good luck That is the smallest clutch Ive ever heard of too. My girl just laid that x 4 , she is on a diet now.

sooooo. she laid 28 eggs so i have my 14 sitting in a container with perilite :)
now the long wait........
