Eggs

Hello, my son has a two year old veiled chameleon and just noticed today that there are a cluster of eggs down in her habitat, buried in the moist forest moss and bark. I can see them well through the glass and they look healthy. Should we just leave them there and see what happens?

Thanks for any advice!

Hello and Welcome to the forums.

Did your son breed her? If not the eggs are infertile and will mold over in due time. I would recommend filling out the https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/ just so we can see how your setup is and learn a little about your chameleon.

Not to scare you but I have a feeling that there might be some issues with your setup so some pictures would be a benefit as well. There shouldn't be any substrate on the bottom of her cage and since she is a female and is laying she needs a laying bin in her cage at all time. Otherwise she could become egg bound.
