How soon after mating should I start to see some eggs in my female? I heard that you see lumpy spots above her legs ...how long after mating will this be seen? is there anyother signs that she has copulated...she was placed with a male over night and was black and yellow in the mornign and i am sure they mated...

Black and yellow are gravid signs for a veiled chameleon. It normally takes a month before you can see the eggs in her, and she will lay a month or two after copulation. You will notice her walking around a lot about a week before she is ready to lay and if you have any pots in there she will start digging. Also you can feel her stomach and feel the eggs inside of her (they feel like jellybeans). A day before she lays she will probably stop eating. So, have something for her to lay her eggs in if you see these signs or around a month or so.
