vermiculite depth looks good from waht i know, i use a shallower cont, like a sandwitch one or a little bigger, the ammouth or air may dry you eggs a bit faster, not entierly sure tho,
hopefully someone else will offer insite as well
what kinda eggs ya gots?? :)

oh very fun :) i just did my breeding and am incubating panther eggs right now.
best of luck

with the ammount of room in the top of that container, i would forgo the air holes.
i looked about 6inches deep correct?

umm ok i thought it was deeper. i would maybe do 1 or 2 tiny holes, and just watch for moisture forming on the lid

thats what i use maybe a bit more .75-1" id think you are ok, also watch for denting as thats a sign of dehydration if you dont already know

sorry i went to bed last night. denting is just like it sounds the egg shell starts to dent or cave in..
