Eggs on fern

I found something on a fern leaf in my carpet chams Bioactive enclosure. It’s only on that leaf. Just wondering if i should remove it or leave it be and should i be concerned? It’s my first and only bioactive so im not too familiar with normal bugs and changes. I did add springtails and isopods when i first set it up in late may.

Those may be fern seeds. I have ferns and the seeds look like eggs. I usually see them on the underside though, so you may have something different.

Thank you! I will take a closer look in the morning when the lights come back on. I didn’t know ferns had that feature. if it is, that’s great.

Those “eggs” are not bug eggs but rather sori or sporangia (which hold hundreds of dust-like fern spores). I don’t think ferns produce flowers or seeds but only produce spores to reproduce.
In some species of fern, you can tell what species the fern is from the pattern, etc.
