You can take the eggs out by hand. Don't rinse them but you can softly brush off some of the excess dirt with you fingers.

So, what's it, 10pm your time? She's workin' late....hopefully she'll finish and end your waiting soon

You can just grab them out by hand. You dont need to be careful with them I mean dont crush them or anything. But you dont have to be a nervous wreck moving them. Good Luck. HURRY up and breed those Nosy's I want to see you breed them.

My Oustalet is convinced that female Nosy is for him! Those Nosy's have to grow up a bit-will breed them next year! You know-that little male "bark-hisses" if I get too close to him!

Sorry, just meant you should get one. I want to buy baby oustaleti from you! I know what you mean though, haven't seen any in a while. The 2008 quota permits should be issued soon and we'll start seeing some fresh imports but do you want to get a wc or a cb female?

Philippe de Vosjoli got some photos of a wild chameleon they believed was an oustalet x pardalis hybrid. There's a picture in Martin's "Masters of Disguise" book of a male pardalis in full courtship colors trying to mount an oustaleti. Ya never know......

Awwww-in my exhaustion, I misread get for got. The only ones I know of CB are eggs that Mike has. I would much rather go CB, but it might be a wait!
I was up all night with Great Dane puppy puker. And at the vet's first thing this morning. He must have eaten something-but is $140 bucks better now!

Getting cb would be my preference too, but the wait would get frustrating...Ya know, I've kept 20 something species of chameleons now and oustaleti definitely ranks up there among my favorites. It would be cool if someone out there was actively breeding them, and I know you have really liked Oscar so far.

As for puppy pukers....I swear they do it because of how much we hate it. Mine eats these reed leaves outside our patio everytime I turn my back. And the result is always the same....

Make sure she's watered and fed and let us know how many eggs you find. Take your time with them though ... I'm sure you don't want any accidents. Especially after all the effort you girl has put in as well!!

It's very exciting looking for eggs but it's actually kind of cool on this end waiting to hear what the results are too!!

I get a kick out of hearing what's hatching or even eggs being laid too. What do you guys think about maybe a subforum or something with birth and egg announcements?

OK! The girl is up in her vines and watered-will try to feed her in the morning. The egg laying container is on my dining room table and I will dig up eggs in the morning. My female looks pretty good all considering, and I am wasted tired! Talk to everyone in a few hours!
