i think i read somewhere about chams that have reasorbed their eggs...please correct me if im wrong....Sativa has quit eateing and should lay any day now. Her tummy is firm. Nel on the other hand stoped eateing for 2 days when her eggs were visable. she droped 3 grms at that time she also had a big poo that day as well....and well now i dont see or feel the eggs she will show gravid coloration only sometimes... i have checked all plants and laying bins and nothing...i know next step is x ray... is it possible for her to reabsorb the eggs though? Just a week or 2 prior to her receptiveness was i able to get her to eat and drink better. she was a rescue....she was very thin when i got her...could this be her making herself better? she has also started to hunt for her food rather than hand feed..im very happy and proud of her...,but now she is just fat..not plump legs FAT meaty legs

i have seen the eggs but now i dont i dont even feel them and she got fat...its been 7.5 weeks since mating occured. she is pooping eateing and drinking normally...Sativa is ready to lay..i dug a little hole for her to give her a hint...she filled it in this am and looked a lil smaller....i checked the entire bucket for eggs nothing yet...every time i found an egg shaped clump of sand i got excited....
there are no signs of her going down hill.. everything is above normal...she has always had a laying bin. there are no fluxations in her weight beyond 3 grams. her fecal /urate is normal. she has shown no indication of anything being wrong.....if nothing has changed by next week ill take her to the vet...as far as her moods and over all way of life it is better now by 1000% than when i resuced her...she wouldnt eat or drink almpost force feeding her she wouldnt even move.....now she is a happy hunter who drinks normally and explores her freerange instead of hiding in it....i have dug up all the laying bins and planted pots no eggs for nel.......
