I was wondering i have heard that once a female lays a clutch she may lay another in a time... How long is it. And if I don't breed her again how often will she lay infertile eggs. also if you have any comments or other important info please reply
Thanks Max.

What species of chameleon do you have? If you have a veiled or panther and you mated her, your female can lay up to two more fertile clutches in the next 6 months or so. If she is not mated and all boys kept out of her sight she may not lay any clutches if you cut back on feeding her and keep her a little cooler. I have a few links for you below. One about general care, female care, one on egg laying and a video about the laying bin. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blo...-keepers-young-veiled-panther-chameleons.html

I will provide you with an example from my breeding experience.

I paired my male and female and one month later she successfully laid a clutch. Almost exactly 2 months later, from the same pairing, she laid an even larger clutch of fertile eggs successfully.

My female Ambilobe Panther laid 3 fertile clutches, each almost exactly 6 weeks apart.
