egg laying problems

2 days ago my oustalets cham finally dropped a tiny clutch of 6 eggs but that is all is she going to lay more or does it sound like she is gonna have complications since then she has just drank and basked as normal not ate though

Generally oustalets have a lot more eggs than 6. Did she release them in the cage without properly laying them? Do you have a laying container? Has she mated?

i thought they usually had around 40 which is why im concerned she laid them in a burrow inside a small bucket/laying container and their were two other tubs for her to lay in and they are empty. i have no idea if she was mated but i bought her with a male and she was already gravid when the shop got her in so i have no idea

Did she see you watching her when she was laying them? Does she still have a place to dig in the cage in case she needs to lay more?

An x-ray should show if she has any left...and a shot of oxcytocin might make her lay them if she does.
