Egg laying practices

Hello everyone,
My veiled chameleon is around that age where I would expect to see her to lay eggs. I just needed some more information on how to be ready. What are the most obvious signs? Would I have time to get ready when I notice the signs or should I be ready for it at a moments notice? What is the minimum size for the laybin and what substance works best to help her dig her tunnels? Any and all information would be great.
Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the forums. I recommend keeping a laying bin in the enclosure at all times after they teach the age of 4 months old. I’m going to attack a video for how to make a laying bin and my blog about eggs laying and the laying bin.
