Egg laying amongst panthers

Hi,

I recently purchased a panther and was told it was a male, however I've been told on here its a female.

Was just wanting to get a bit of information about females and laying infertile eggs e.g. signs, affects on health etc?

Also what happens if I never breed her?

*FYI* I was told by the pet shop she was around 9 months old

Thanks

Welcome to the forums. Females can and often do lay eggs with out a male even being around. She needs a laying bin in her cage at all times. If she does not have a suitable place to lay she will become egg bound. I have a few links for you about egg laying and the laying bin attached below.
