I think that I am about to have an egg hatch. It will be 4 months on the 27. The egg began to cave it but I am worried about how long it will take after that. It caved in Sunday night and I do not know what I should begin to worry. I read that it can take a day or so but how long is so. Can someone please help?

Yes it is a veiled chameleon. I have add moisture today trying to keep it moist. The temp has stayed between 74-81 degrees the last three weeks. The humid is really good in the area I am keeping them. The eggs have been white these last couple weeks. So I do not know. All the articles that I have read say that they can hatch anywhere from 4 months to 9 months. I will keep an eye I guess.
