Egg hatching help

Hello,

I have had my Ambilobe eggs incubating for 8 months and I found one egg that has opened up. I have not seen a baby come out for the past 24 hours. Should I just ride it out or try to open it up and see what is inside? This particular egg was the largest of the group. Thanks:)

Ride it out.
Thebaby will come out soon,
Oftentimes they slit the egg, then have to get more energy to come out.

the egg thats open will come out soon. The one thats closed still needs more time. They dont all hatch at the same time. Some might not hatch at all sometimes and mold over. its sucks but thats why they lay so many eggs!

congrats on the lil one itll be out soon enough...its probally soakin up the rest of its sac..

Thanks everyone:) 19 more with this clutch, just nervous about the first one...... how long can they stay in the eggs prior to making their way out?

Babies are always so cute. I am a awful cham mom. I take a sable paint brush, just barely damp and clean up my babies, after I am sure they don't have an egg sac attached. I just have a need to clean kids up.:)
