egg crates

Find a place that does lots of breakfasts and arrange to come by and pick up their egg crate.

Honestly, you won't be able to keep up with how much they generate so maybe just ask them to save a week's worth for you.

Long ago I worked at a college cafeteria and every morning I would come in at 5am and crack 6 flats of eggs to be used for "scrambled" eggs.

We would use another 5 or 6 flats for "eggs to order" every day.

(a "flat" is 12 eggs by 12 eggs)

Alternatively, the feed store I get my guinea pig hay from has egg crate for sale, you might check around for "feed stores".

JC I ordered 140 egg crates from work once... it was only $20... it's been three years and I only have a few left. Granted, i've given some away at SBCK meetings and I usually keep a high number of crickets, so I need to change out the crates more often.... but Dave is right. It will take you some time to get through them lol.

I still have some if you'd like a few. I could meet you after work. I might even buy another 140 and stash them...
