Egg Candeling

I have some veiled eggs, around 9months old. I can see veins in the eggs, and can see an embryo. I'm just unsure of how they should be positioned in the eggs. If someone has some photos of what theirs looks like that would be great. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean positioned? When theyre ready to hatch there are no veins, just a dark blob (the embryo) and clear fluid surrounding it. Be extremely careful not to turn the eggs if you pick them up, they will die.

I know not to turn them. I was just wondering how the egg should look with the light shining thru it. When I candle them, the "blob" is positioned towards the top of the egg. I cant get a good photo otherwise I would post one.

Is there a time when this is not true? My eggs were moved around by accident when they were under one month old, not sure if they got flipped. That was a month ago, none have shown mold or dents.. I am hopeful at that age there was no damage. Can you advise?

Most say that if you move them in the first week your ok, but I had one get knocked off the the light at 8months, bounced off the floor and still hatched :)
