Egg bound

I noticed my 7 month old panther needed to lay about 5 days ago. I put a laying bin in the cage however she still has not laid eggs or even begun to dig... My question is at what point should i become concerend that she might be egg bound. How long can a female be caring eggs before it typically becomes a serious concern.

After being receptive pink color they turn gravid black and pink after that is 20 to 30 days she will stop eating when she's ready I use play and for mine I dig a starter hole for her in the sand. If she doesn't lay after 2 days I would put about 12 inches of sand in a 5 gallon bucket dig a starter hole and put her in for a day do not disturb her at all when laying she will abandon the hole and become egg bound others have other tricks but this is what I do. The decline very quickly so keep a close eye on her if she starts going down hill take her to the vet asap

thank you! I would just like to just to clarify then. She turned receptive pink about exactly a month ago. however she has not turned gravid black and pink she also seems to be eating but less then normal. However the eggs are clearly visible when you look at her stomach. Could she be ready to lay without experience the symptoms you mentioned? or is she simply not ready and I got excited a little to early?

Almost all stop eating and start running around the cage. As long as she's eating drinking and you have laying bin in there I wouldn't be to worried bUT others may say otherwise

waiting on my 1 year old panther to stop eating ,,, she's big as a cow ,, has turned dark a few times but she goes back to her normal colors ,, this is frustrating , but I do keep a close eye on her ,, good thing I'm retired

light colors she's almost ready and watch your food she'll start to slow down and don't give her that much. Give her plenty of privacy. Keep me posted hope it goes well

I have a hyper white panther right now that also looks like a cow. Getting worried about how many eggs she has in there

I cleaned vield and panther housery yesterday , got to take panther out and let her free roam for a little while , checked her belly and seems like the eggs are closer to her upper chest area , I hate taking her out at this time don't want to stress her out but she did look happy to roam and climb on me and that's a norm for her , male veild is always mad when I take him out ,he takes a few minutes for him to calm down sence I took them to the vet and had to give parasite meds he's gaining weight again :)
