Hi all! I'm an experienced cham keeper and I'm looking for some advice. I've always kept male chameleons but I have a friend who is having an issue with her female Veiled. She's is so bloated....she's huge. At first, we assumed she was getting ready to lay but I'm starting to have my doubts. This has been going on for a few months now and she hasn't laid. She has a dig box and privacy, but no eggs. After seeing her chameleon in person, I'm suspicious it might be another issue entirely. She's eating, drinking, and pooping with no issues. Also, she doesn't have that "full of marbles" look. I've checked with her keeper and temps/supplements/food is all on point. She's fed about 4-5 crickets per day.
I had hoped to get some pictures of her with a relaxed belly but she is a grumpy girl. Also, if she DOES have eggs, they are 100% infertile.
