Egg bin

I was wondering what everyone uses for the substrate in there laying bin.

So 1/2 organic soil and 1/2 play sand??

3/4 organic topsoil (It is a white bag with red and black writing. $1.96 @ home depot) and 1/4 playsand ($1.9? @ home depot or lowes)

Ive had the best success with 100% play sand. Ive tried a few different combinations but the girls never hesitate to get right down to business in the plat sand, clean and moist

Washed playsand...produced by kings in a white bag with blue, yellow and red sand box toys on the front. Never has led to impaction or infection and holds a tunnel well when moist.
