Edible flowers

I live in Michigan and we have a lot of flowers blooming right now. I was thinking about picking some and giving them to Kiwi as a treat (Veiled).

Does anyone know what the picture is I attached? I have a lot of those in my yard.

I know about Hibiscus, and I've heard roses are okay, some other flowers I see around are impatients, petunias, mums,.... Any help would be appreciated

We have those in VA also. On a phone, so I can't google search image for ID. But, I would refrain from feeding outdoor flowers unless positive they haven't come in contact with any pesticides, fertilizers, or other chemicals. They could harm or kill your cham if ingested. Best thing is to keep a hibiscus in the cage and several extras in which to pull from. That way you can gaurantee they are safe. The purple flowers are also very close to the ground, which means they have a far greater chance of picking up unwanted chemicals.

Those are alfalfa flowers. I feed those to my bearded dragons all the time and they love them. A lot of honey that we buy in stores comes from the pollen of alfalfa flowers. They're Totally harmless. So if yours are pesticide free and you wash them up really well I don't see why there's any reason you couldn't feed them to your Cham.

I specifically grow red clover for my tortoise, though I rarely let it bloom, I just let it sprout and feed it off. He usually likes it a lot.
