Well I suggest going to the vet as soon as possible! There could be something really wrong with your chameleon but I'm not chameleon specialist.

also fill this out so we can help you out some more

humidity is 65 to 80 depending when i mist. i mist the heat which creates steam
im using a ficus bengimina and a shcefflera actinophylla
my cage is isolated in my room with no vents or fans no traffic
socal

How long have you owned him and how long have you been supplementing him with those supplements that often? Is he having trouble shooting his tongue? Can you please post some pics of him? Your basking temp is too high, that needs to be lowered. Are you saying he was in a cage with other chameleons and he ate them???

I have had him for a month yesterday. I have been supplementing him like that since ive had him. i have heard many different opinions on supplementing and i understand it is a very shady area of chameleon research. My basking temp. used to be 80 - 95 but i was told by kammerflage kreations that they use 95-100 for their juvis. He is not having trouble shooting.http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1491446722685&set=a.1491446602682.2065285.1129518784 I was saying he used to be in a smaller cage with other chams and he was eating then. so im moving him to a smaller cage thats 22" long by 12" wide and 36 inches tall

Either raise the basking light o lower the temps at the baking site or change the basking light bulb to a 60-75 watt incandescent household light bulb. Your basking spot should be between 80-85 degrees. Ive always stayed around 82 or 83 at my crews basking spot. You need to dust with calcium without d3 at most feeding. And cal w/d3 2 times a month and herptivite 1x a month. Your giving way too much d3 to your cham.

Also didnt you just post today about breeding? You need to get your basic husbandry issues down before even thinking that far ahead. Breeding should only be attempted by advanced keepers.

to be honest I already know this but i just wanted to get opinions from all angles. His basking temp is 82-85 and he has a 75 watt bulb. I am dusting without d3 everyday except sunday

omg! my bad!! I read the "then" as "them" dah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my cham from kammerflage also and yes they do use a high basking temp. I found the temps to be too hot for my cham as he was opening his mouth when basking which meant he was overheating and trying to cool down. I changed my 100 watt bulb to a 60 and he has been fine ever since.

no, as long as he seems to not be too hot. The Kammers know what they are doing. I used their basking bulb(I bought my whole set up from them) in the beginning but strangely enough when my cham a little older he used to gape when he would bask and I knew it was too hot for him so I changed the bulb.

if that is the only way you can get him to eat...so be it. When I have my chameleon out on my patio he likes to climb up way high on these ropes I have hanging. For some reason when he gets on the ropes he wants to eat. I always hold his cup for him to eat of up to his mouth and he shoots his tongue in the cup. He is so spoiled!

ok cool thank you. when I take Mardi outside he always wants to drink and lick the leaves.... I guess chameleons are weird like that

shcefflera actinophylla
This particular variety is mildly toxic if ingested, beware.
A safer option is another variety that looks the same but grows smaller and is not toxic is called shcefflera arboricola (dwarf umberella)
:)

Its all about erring on the side of caution. :)
Does make me wonder how many plant munching reptiles actually die from effects of ingesting live plants non native to the species, you dont hear of such post mortem results.
Forgot you had a panther!~ :D

ya. i have never heard of chams dieing from a plant they have eaten but to be honest i have never heard of a plant getting hurt from one
