Eating Sticks?

My Ambanja as recently started biting off small twigs and gnawing on larger one's.Im not sure why he is doing this. What should I do?

i would cut all the small twigs off or change out your branches all together that he would not be able to chew pieces off. I would be very worried about him getting an impaction from the sticks if he is swallowing them.

Yes that is why im worried.

If he is gnawing and not breaking away pieces that is one thing, but if he is then that is a concern. The twigs I would get rid of. I am not sure why they chew on things. I don't think anyone really knows.

My female panther chews on branches now and then. I have just made it so that there are no pcs she can bite off just in case.

My panther has a sore on his lip - he got it from chewing on branches.
