Eating pattern...

O.K., so I am a bit confused... Zaphod has been doing something new. He will spend his day basking and exploring, and when his first basking bulb goes out he will then go to eat. I do have another basking spot, but it is not very warm. I haven't noticed any issues, but I do want him to digest his food properly. Has anyone else noticed a behavior like this? Is he just messin' with me to make me worry? Hmmm...

do you cup feed?
i know they usually need to warm up after eating to digest?
i cup feed, if it were me i would prolly try to get him eating
earlier in the day.

be interesting to see other thoughts!

Yeah, I cup feed. I do feed him early, but he doesn't seem to want to eat until later on. Still has the 2nd basking spot, but that one is lower temp and he doesn't usually sit under it. Might have to get a higher wattage bulb.
