Eating more during shedding?

My cham started shedding about maybe last week or the beginning of this week. He seems to be hungrier since he started shedding
He eats what I give him faster than usual and was eating some of his shed.

Could he be hungrier? I’ve seen some people say their chams get less hungry but he seems extra hungry.

My boys appetite never changes with shedding. He always wants to eat. Some will eat their shed so that is not abnormal.

What feeders do you feed him?

He gets crickets. Also I am not worried about him eating shed.

And he does usually love eating but he seems he could be more hungry?

Depending on his age you want to keep him on his set amounts and feeding days. As they mature and age food intake goes straight to fat storage which is not good for them.
