Eating in the Free Range

If a Cham is free ranging in a large area how do you know if it is eating enough?

Cup or hand feed,is the only way I can see them doing it.

you put enough in a cup and then if they are gone.. its eating enough? im not sure what else you could mean.

He won't cup feed most of the time. He wants his food to free range which gets it all over and is hard to keep track of. He also will not usually hand feed because he stays at the top of the range out of reach.

Free ranging can be challenging. I have a quad who free ranges and he is spoiled. If I don't hand feed him, he just doesn't eat.

thats where the line is drawn for me then.. if he wont hand or cup feed then he gets to go hungry till he will cup feed or gets caged. hah. no free ranging of bugs (on purpose) here..noooope.

if you havent, try tong feeding. OR use a DIY jug type feeder.
