eating habits of baby veiled.

So, I have a 3 week old veiled cham, unsure on gender (maybe a girl, but too small to see spurs yet). I was wondering if anyone else had veils this young and knew how much they eat?

I feed crix and halved mealworms, and I'm not sure how much or often she should be eating, she has 24 access to them right now.

You should let her eat everything in the cage for now. When all crickets are eaten/dead/removed, do the cup feed thingand feed her one or two at a time until she seems to be satisfied, then gauge how many to offer based on how many she eats in a single sitting. I would suspect anywhere from 8-15 crickets a day based on what size your crickets are. The smaller they are, then obviously the more she will eat. But I would say no moore than about 7-10 per day.

I haven't seen her eat at all today, most of the crix are all over the cage right now, cept for some stupid ones who couldn't make it out of the bowl. In the morning when she wakes up i put her in the bowl to show her the food, and she immediately left.
Just wondering how often she should be eating. i dont want her to go on a hunger strike cuz all shes getting are crix (shes not real fond of the mealworms apparently, only eaten one) but since shes so small there isn't much else I can feed her.

know where I can get them? my one and only store that sells cham food, (and the place i bought mine from) doesnt have any flies.

Petsmart sometimes will get them on thursdays but there not very reli able. Petco usually has them though. If no pet stores have them then u can order them online too. Also another thing you can try with your babies is giving them some privacy. One of my boys is really shy and at first he wouldn't eat so i would put the crickets near the top of the cage and leave the room. Just something u can try.

If only i had a petsmart. my closest one is an hour away. i live in a small nowheres ville town that has a walmart and a kohls for shopping. and as for pet stores, two no name shops, and only one specializes in lizards. they only have worms (nothing small enough for my baby to eat, cept mealworms which i have to half, ew btw) and pinhead crix. Im scared my baby will go on a hunger strike cuz shes bored. thus the want for flies.
