eating fruit/vegetables?

how should you start getting your chameleon to eat things other than insects? i have placed it into her tank, and she just ignores it. i have also tried to hand it to her but she just gets all worked up. any other ideas? maybe she’s just not interested?

While some veileds may eat fruits and vegetables, they have zero need for them and aren’t able to properly digest them. It’s much better to give the fresh produce to your feeder bugs. Do provide lots of safe live plants and if your veiled feels the desire, it will munch on the leaves.
