eating calcium from a spoon

A stupid friend gave calcium to my chameleon in a spoon. I really didnt think that he would eat it, but he ate it and he liked it. Is the healthy for him to eat calcium from a spoon and not on a cricket ?

How much of the calcium did he actually eat?

It wont hurt him, but you dont want to be in the habit of giving too much.

I would withhold dusting for a few days to compensate if you think he ate a lot.

Well the spoon was in the box with the calcium and he ate one bite which is the calcium you can put on the end of your finger
