Eating and shedding

I have a one year old panther chameleon who is going through a shed. I just purchased him on Thursday 1/3/2013. Since I've had him I've seen him eat once, but drinks alot during the day. He seems very agitated at almost everything, puffing up for almost no reason. Is he trying to break the skin loose? And is it normal for them not to eat for 2-3 days?

sounds like he is trying to bust off the old skin.
my cham def eats less and could beat anyone at twister when he is shedding.

Mine had done that as well. He looks like a little T-Rex thats mad at the world. Mist him with warm water. I find that if you put *HOT* water in the bottle it sprays out warm. Test this first...
