Im currently out of feeder size dubias and im waiting on my little babies to grow out to feeder size. In the meantime is it alright to feed spike adult dubias? If so how many a day would be a meal?

If you have to feed of adult dubias, you should feed off the males id think that an adult cham would be able to handle one i think a couple would be good enough

I imagine one or three large males would be good per meal. One fat female would probably also be enough. Watch him to make sure they go down alright and be prepared to having to pull one out just in case. The males usually go down with no problem, but females are generally pretty dang big!

Yeah females are alot wider and fatter than male dubias, and you also dont need as many males in your colony.

Dont waste your females. Feed the males off first. When I was getting my colony started I fed my panther male dubias. He usually ate 2 full grown adult males per meal. Now he hates the full grown ones now that Ive been feeding him the 1/2 grown nymphs for so long. He looked scared of the last full grown adult I put in with him.

Spike would probably love an adult male dubia!!

I feed my male panthers the male dubias when my colonies get male heavy and they all love them! I think they feel like they are getting a new feeder lol.

My guys go crazy for freshly molted males! Anything freshly molted (white) makes them go running!

I consider a single adult male dubia a sufficient meal for an adult panther chameleon. However, I also feed my chameleons almost daily. If you are only feeding every second or third day, you may like to give your chameleon two.
